"In every relationship there is a sexy thing. Sometimes, it is the heroine who doesn’t know she’s sexy. Sometimes, it’s the hero that’s just doing the right thing who comes out the winner.
Every character is different as the story they tell as are the writers who write them. We can’t expect any less from our readers. Every reader is different and that’s why we write in many different genres.
Please share those scenes with us this week. From the moment our couple meets, their first hot kiss, to the fulfillment of a dream, show us the wonders of finding, falling in love and loving your significant other."
---My Sexy Saturday: A Sexy Thing
Today's excerpt is from "What He Brought Home" by T.C. Mills in Dominant Tendencies.
Mirin began by letting the drops of wax fall across those calluses, delicate stings of heat. He held Kanovan’s hand, sensing his husband’s invisibly faint tremors as the wax cooled, and then he began to pick the hardened beads off. His nails were too short to do the job properly. So he turned to teeth instead, drawing them across the pads of Van’s fingertips, sucking and half-biting. The wax flaked away, at first tasteless, then sour with a hint of skin-saltiness. Kanovan sighed as he sucked harder.
He drew Van’s fingers from his mouth and pushed him down on the mattress. Kanovan’s shirt was already halfway open, baring his lean chest. Mirin undid the rest of the buttons and let wax drip along the lines of the scar he uncovered, the letter traced above Van’s heart. If only because of the contrast, the edges of the scar were especially sensitive. A shudder through Kanovan’s body made the next drop land on the
unmarked skin over his ribcage, and that drew a gasp from him.
“Did that hurt?” Mirin asked.
“Not badly. It’s just…hot.” Kanovan arched luxuriously, cracking the drying wax.
Mirin stared at the flex of muscle. “Right.”
He let more drops fall, tracing Van’s collarbone, coming down across his pectorals. Carefully, he dripped a bead to land on one nipple.
“Mmm,” Kanovan said.
